Desktop Ashfield Mining Review Co., Ltd. is the official registered name of our company. We have operated from Incheon since 2017, beginning as a two-person bench service for neighbours who had bought used ASIC units and could not keep them cool through the summer humidity.
Our history
Jae-won Ashfield spent a decade in industrial HVAC maintenance before building a personal six-rig setup in Yeonsu-gu. Friends asked him to look at their machines; word spread through local mining meetups. By 2019 we formalised the practice, added thermal imaging, and narrowed our focus to rigs at 0.05 TH/s and above where dust management becomes a weekly concern rather than an annual chore.
We earn revenue solely from review and planning services described on this site—on-site assessments, bench testing, and maintenance calendars for your hardware.
How we work
Every assessment starts with what you actually run: model, age, room layout, and how often you are willing to open a panel. We write reports in plain English (and Korean on request) with photographs, not generic checklists copied from manufacturer PDFs.
Our bench in Office 8 holds reference mesh, a particle counter, and spare fan assemblies for comparison. On-site visits carry the same instruments in a road case.

Values
We document mild flaws as readily as strengths. A rig that hashes well but traps dust behind a warranty seal is noted as such, with workarounds where they exist. We refuse paid placement in reviews.
